The Boys from Biloxi Audiobook
John Grisham The Boys from Biloxi Audiobook 🎧 #shorts
For most of the last century, Biloxi has been recognized for its beaches, resorts, and seafood sector. But there was a darker side to it. It was also known for corruption and depravity, including gambling, prostitution, bootleg whiskey, drugs, and contract assassinations. The vice was ruled by a small cabal of mobsters, many of whom were said to be Dixie Mafia members.
Keith Rudy and Hugh Malco were boyhood pals and Little League all-stars in Biloxi in the 1960s. But, as teenagers, their lives took separate paths. Keith’s father rose to prominence as a prosecutor, trying to «clean up the Coast.» Hugh’s father rose to the position of «Boss» of Biloxi’s criminal underworld. Keith attended law school, following in his father’s footsteps. Hugh enjoyed the nightlife and worked in his father’s nightclubs. The two families were on their way to a courtroom showdown.
In The Boys from Biloxi, an epic saga steeped in history and with a wide cast of fascinating characters, life itself hangs in the balance.
